7th March 2026 – Neuroconvergence, Ireland’s neurodivergent-led movement for unity, creativity, and inclusion, returns to University College Dublin for Chapter 4 of its Rethink Ireland series.
Following two groundbreaking gatherings in October and January, this free, family-friendly event brings together the full Neuroconvergence network, starting with a stakeholder meeting (11:30 am–1:30 pm - Invitees only) and continuing with a public festival (2:00 pm–6:00 pm) at the UCD Student Centre.
Audiences will experience
● A Sense of Music, a powerful live musical performance and conversation exploring a central question: What does music feel like in the body, the brain, or the soul? Five of Ireland’s most revered musical artists – Rónán Ó Snodaigh, Dani Larkin, Áine Tyrrell, Fiachna Ó Braonáin and Myles O’Reilly – come together for an immersive exploration of music’s sensory, emotional and neurodivergent dimensions.
● Unveiled by Max Whelan (The Assembly) - Ireland’s first theatre production by a non-speaking autistic writer. Directed by Al Bellamy, performed by Eleanor Walsh and Nathan Patterson
● An hour-long movement performance with Tobi Omoteso, Alessandra Azeviche, and Sil Frost
OTHER EVENT HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:
● Performances and readings by leading neurodivergent dancers and writers
● A human rights panel blending lived experience with legal expertise
● A Flash of Perspective – talks exploring neurodivergence and queerness through an intersectional lens
● Creative breakout spaces and dedicated sensory zones
● A gaming bus and sensory cinema
● Open networking and conversation across all areas of neurodiversity
Neuroconvergence provides a space for dialogue, community, and celebration of neurodivergent arts and culture, with support from Rethink Ireland, Creative Ireland, Dublin City Council, UCD, and over 30 neurodiversity-focused organisations.
