What’s happening with climate and nature, and what does it mean for everyday life in the UK?

Join us to find out at a FREE community screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing, followed by a facilitated group discussion, including solutions based steers on taking local and community action.

This 50 minute, eye-opening film brings together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence and insights into why it matters, along with credible, positive responses; across issues including ...
🌧️ Extreme weather
🍞 Food security
🏥 Health
💷 Economy & Cost of living

It presents the national implications of climate and nature breakdown in a single, accessible, non-partisan account, helping audiences process the information on a more human level. And will deliver the frank facts about the threats, but also the enormous benefits to our economy, resilience and quality of life of Government leading on genuine emergency action.

JOIN A NATIONAL MOVEMENT ...
The Harringay film forms part of a wider UK (and increasingly international) programme of screenings designed to help communities engage with the climate and nature crisis.

It is based on the November '25 National Emergency Briefing in Westminster (featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The Times), with appearances from naturalist Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden and a range of voices from across the UK.

Said Packham: "I’d encourage people everywhere to attend a screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing. This new film creates exactly the kind of honest local conversation we now urgently need, both about the threat from climate and nature breakdown, but also about what we can do, together with our politicians, to build a better future.”

HAVE YOUR SAY ...
After the film there will be an open discussion about what it means for our community and what we can do locally to support, including encouraging local MPs to back the Parliamentary Call for a televised emergency briefing on the climate and nature crisis.

PRESENTED BY ...
This community screening is presented as by PEB Haringey: a collective of local community and activism groups cnocerned with Climate and Nature breakdown.
