Šta je dom? Više od tri decenije nakon što je sa porodicom iz ratom zahvaćenog Sarajeva stigla u Holandiju, Lidija Zelović kroz porodičnu video-arhivu preispituje pitanja identiteta, pripadanja i sećanja. Ono što počinje kao intimna priča o jednoj porodici prerasta u promišljanje o Evropi danas i svetu koji se menja pred našim očima.

Posmatrajući rastuću društvenu polarizaciju, nacionalizam i političke podele u Holandiji, Zelović u njima prepoznaje obrasce koji su joj odavno poznati iz nekadašnje Jugoslavije. Ono što je nekada izgledalo nezamislivo ponovo postaje moguće.

Film je svetsku premijeru imao u glavnom takmičarskom programu IDFA-e, najvećeg svetskog festivala dokumentarnog filma. Posebno nas raduje što će Lidija Zelović biti gošća prvog izdanja HARMLESS Film Festivala i predstaviti svoj film novosadskoj publici.

What is home?

For more than three decades, Lidija Zelović has been documenting the life of her family in the Netherlands after they fled war-torn Sarajevo in the early 1990s. Drawing from a remarkable family archive, Home Game becomes an intimate film essay about migration, identity, belonging, and a Europe changing before our eyes.

As she observes growing polarization, nationalism, and political divisions in Dutch society, Zelović begins to recognize unsettling echoes of the country she once left behind. What begins as a family story gradually transforms into a warning that concerns us all.

The film had its world premiere in the International Competition of IDFA, the world's leading documentary film festival.We are especially happy to welcome Lidija Zelović to the first edition of the HARMLESS Film Festival, where she will personally present the film to the Novi Sad audience.
