Description
Doors at 6:30, music at 7:00. BYOB.
Luke Francis is a Seattle-based singer-songwriter. Francis spent the years leading up to 2020 cutting his teeth with Americana band Fretland and living nomadically wherever allowed him to continue honing his songwriting craft – a tent on the Skykomish river, an 1800s log cabin, the spare bedrooms of benevolent lawyers. When Fretland’s touring schedule ground to a halt with the onset of the pandemic, the hiatus provided a silver lining, prompting Francis to begin work on the songs which would comprise a soul-searching solo project. Philadelphia-based indie folk artist Kristin Daelyn combines intricate fingerstyle guitar with poetic storytelling to create a world of nostalgia and introspection. Her music explores themes of love, longing, and nature through vivid sonic canvases and deep emotional exploration. Grounded in the simplicity and warmth of folk tradition, her sound feels both familiar and unique, evoking quiet moments and a tender space for deep connection. Instagram | Spotify
“He won’t make you stomp your boots, which is good because he probably already personified the soles. When you let him drive he might take some risks you wouldn’t, but he won’t lose your trust. Just like how one candle doesn’t lose anything by lighting another, Jack has the kind of luck that’ll spread to you if you get close enough. The best parking spot at a funeral kind of luck.
Your Jack plays songs that will have you calling loved ones on the walk home and texting your old mushroom dealer soon after they hang up. Anything but numb is Your Jack.”
