Tasha Smith Godinez is a performer, composer, recording-artist and lifelong musician. Her harp studies began in San Diego with Dorinne Yoder and Elena Mashkovtseva then continued with Susan Allen and Isabelle Perrin. She has performed on prestigious stages worldwide including recent performances at the AHS Summer Institute, Mexico International Harp Festival and the Buenos Aires HarpWeek.

As founder of ENNANGA Records and Publishing her discography includes Postcards from the Soul (2014), HarpCHICK (2020), Out of the Desert (2022) and A New Day (2024). Additionally, she has recordings released on both Cold Blue Records and Centaur Records.

As a composer, Tasha’s works combine her appreciation of traditional and contemporary harp techniques, creating her unique sound. Tasha teaches harp lessons in San Diego, California where she is Professor of Harp at the University of San Diego (USD) and Palomar College as well as director of the San Diego Harp Academy.
