Harrow Wheelers
Multiple dates and times
Description
Does your child love cycling and want to cycle more?
Come to Harrow Wheelers! A free monthly programme run by Harrow Cyclists, supported by Harrow Cycle Hub, to let your child have fun in a safe environment.
We are Harrow Cyclists, the local branch of London Cycling Campaign. We believe every child in Harrow should be safe to cycle to school.
At Harrow Wheelers your child will develop basic cycle skills and learn about cycle maintenance, overseen by experienced cycling volunteers, using the large empty car park at the former Civic Centre and Harrow Cycle Hub resources.
We plan cycle sessions on the car park, a Diwali event, a short, marshalled led ride on the streets and maintenance sessions. We aim to show kids how much fun cycling can be and how useful it can be by focusing on different aspects each month.
Children must be competent riders, accompanied by a parent/ guardian who is most welcome to join in. Bring your own bike (balance bikes welcome), trike or scooter. We can make some available with advance notice, as well as adapted bikes for disabled children. Please register your interest if you’d like to come!
