This week's presenter: Arturo Natella (Amaru)
Topic: Career Confidence: Free Tools to Power Your Job Search
You don't need expensive software to run an effective job search. In this hands-on session, you'll learn how to use free tools to create, edit, and manage your job search documents—and how to use AI to build custom tools for your search without spending a dime.
Bring a laptop/tablet if you have one so you can follow along and practice during the workshop. Don't have one? No problem—you'll still learn everything you need to try these tools on your own later.
This session will cover:
- Working with documents: How to open, upload, edit, and save your resume using free word processing programs—whether you're working online or offline. You'll also learn how to ask free AI tools for step-by-step help when you get stuck.
- Building your own job search tools: Using a job search tracker as an example, you'll see how to ask AI to help you create what you need—even if you're not sure where to start. This approach works with whatever spreadsheet program you have and can be used to build other tools like networking trackers or interview prep templates.
You'll leave with practical skills you can use immediately—and the confidence to teach yourself new tools using AI whenever you need to.
