Come build community with your fellow job seekers during an enriching and interactive session tailored specifically to you.
This hands-on workshop will provide a fun and structured way to share micro-narratives. Through engaging small group conversations, you'll reflect and grow your awareness of your desires, strengths, and possibilities. You'll come away with a tangible next step and feedback to help you take inspired action.
Insights you develop from this event will help you build a strong foundation for your job search portfolio (resume, LinkedIn profile, etc.) and job interviews.
Participants will create the most valuable experience by showing up on time, staying for the full 90 minutes, and coming ready to engage.
About the presenter:
Erica Mattison is the founder of Erica Mattison Coaching & Consulting, where she supports professionals and teams navigating career decisions, leadership development, and professional growth. She is a certified career coach through the National Career Development Association and brings a background in law, higher education, and environmental stewardship to her work. Erica designs practical, reflective workshops that help people clarify direction and take next steps with confidence. Her work spans individual career strategy, leadership development, and team effectiveness. Advance registration is preferred for all Ed Portal programs and events. Walk-in attendees may not be admitted.
Parking is limited around the Ed Portal so we recommend taking public transportation.
Public transportation options:
We are about a 15-20 minute walk from the Red Line Harvard Square station or Green Line -B Harvard Avenue station.
Several MBTA buses also stop near the intersection of North Harvard Street and Western Avenue: #66, #86, #70.
Parking information:
If you choose to drive to the Ed Portal please be prepared to utilize the two-hour on-street parking surrounding the Ed Portal or to park at Artesani Park and walk 10-12 minutes along Western Avenue to arrive at the Ed Portal. A limited number of parking spaces are available in the rear of the Ed Portal building on a first come, first serve basis. You may only use parking spaces in the rear of the Ed Portal building outlined in orange paint.
