Harvard in the Community invites you to Better, Stronger, Faster: How Robotics can Improve Quality of Life and Enhance Human Performance, an engaging talk with Conor Walsh, Paul A. Maeder Professor of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Professor Walsh will explore how cutting-edge robotic technologies are moving out of research laboratories and into the real world, enhancing human strength, mobility, and quality of life. Drawing on his work at the Harvard Biodesign Lab, he will demonstrate the research that has enabled wearable robots, assistive devices, and exosuits designed to support people in everyday settings, from rehabilitation and healthcare to work and daily living.
This lecture will highlight how thoughtful, human-focused design can turn advanced robotics into practical tools that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
We will also hear briefly from Carolyn Kirk, CEO of MassTech Collaborative as she highlights how the State is driving technology and innovation across Massachusetts.
