Join us for an engaging evening with Cambridge-based multimedia artist Miles Perry as we celebrate his mixed-media solo exhibition I AM. Enjoy snacks and drinks while you experience art alongside local residents, artists, and arts-activists.

Perry will then moderate a panel with three individuals featured in the exhibition, delving into identity, creativity, and personal impact in an increasingly digital era. Together, they’ll explore the heart of the I AM series: authentic human experiences that foster social connection, realism, and a genuine sense of belonging.

Experience the exhibition, meet the artist, get a behind-the-scenes look at his creative process, and take part in a lively conversation and Q&A—introduced by a surprise special guest.

Guests will…

• Hear the inspiration behind Miles Perry’s artwork and the I AM series.

• Meet exhibition participants as they share their work, identities, and roles in shaping local culture.

• Network with artists, makers, entrepreneurs, students, and neighbors.

This reservation includes food, drinks, the artist talk, and networking.

Event Schedule
5:00 p.m. – Appetizers and exhibition viewing
6:00 p.m. – Conversation with the artist and featured community members
6:45 p.m. – Mingling and networking in the gallery

Advance registration is preferred for all Ed Portal programs and events. Walk-in attendees may not be admitted.

Parking is limited around the Ed Portal so we recommend taking public transportation.

Public transportation options:

We are about a 15-20 minute walk from the Red Line Harvard Square station or Green Line -B Harvard Avenue station.

Several MBTA buses also stop near the intersection of North Harvard Street and Western Avenue: #66, #86, #70.

Parking information:

If you choose to drive to the Ed Portal please be prepared to utilize the two-hour on-street parking surrounding the Ed Portal or to park at Artesani Park and walk 10-12 minutes along Western Avenue to arrive at the Ed Portal. A limited number of parking spaces are available in the rear of the Ed Portal building on a first come, first serve basis. You may only use parking spaces in the rear of the Ed Portal building outlined in orange paint.

To help protect visitors and staff, members of the public are asked to stay home if they are unwell or have experienced signs of illness* in the past 24-hours.
