In this two-part virtual institute, participants will learn how to bring PLCs to life within student services teams using PLCs That Work: A Unified Approach as a guiding framework.

We’ll break down what a highly effective Student Services PLC actually looks like, how to design meetings that move beyond updates into action, and how to use data and shared goals to drive equitable outcomes for students.

Whether you’re new to PLCs or ready to refine your team’s collaboration, this experience will help you strengthen systems, increase alignment, and make your collective work more sustainable.

And don’t worry – no dry theory here. This workshop is practical, energizing, and designed specifically for the real world of school counselors, social workers, school psychologists, behavior specialists, and district leads.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explain how the continuous improvement cycle (Plan–Do–Study–Act) strengthens Student Services PLCs and apply its steps to real student-centered problems of practice.

  • Use data intentionally at each stage of the cycle to identify needs, monitor impact, and adjust supports so teams are making equitable, evidence-informed decisions.

  • Design PLC structures and routines that embed continuous improvement, ensuring meetings move beyond updates into action, reflection, and iterative progress.
