Designing Schools That Work for Neurodivergent Students
What if we stopped focusing on “fixing” neurodivergent students and started designing schools that actually work for them?
This Virtual Workshop brings key insights and high-impact strategies from our full-day training into a focused, two-hour experience. You’ll get a meaningful look at what it really takes to recognize, understand, and leverage the strengths of neurodivergent students without the overwhelm.
Led by a nationally recognized school counseling leader who is both neurodivergent and a parent of neurodivergent children, this workshop is grounded in lived experience and professional expertise. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way, what’s working, and where there’s opportunity to do better.
You’ll walk away with ideas you can start using right away—and a clearer vision for what’s possible when schools move beyond accommodation to truly inclusive design.
Participants will be able to:
Build a deeper understanding of the lived experiences of neurodivergent students and their families
Apply practical strategies to create more inclusive, strength-based learning environments
