School counselors are trusted professionals navigating increasingly complex ethical dilemmas in diverse educational settings. Within a Multi-Tiered, Multi-Domain System of Supports (MTMDSS), school counselors must uphold the ASCA Ethical Standards while delivering data-informed, equitable services across all tiers.

This Virtual Workshop situates ethical practice within a comprehensive school counseling program and explores ethical dilemmas across the academic, college/career, and social/emotional domains. Participants will engage in structured ethical decision-making, reflect on the school counselor’s role in systems change, and apply learning to real-world and emerging ethical concerns.

Through case studies, interactive activities, and collaborative problem-solving, this expanded training will help school counselors strengthen ethical reasoning and advocate with integrity across MTMDSS.

Participants will be able to:

  • Apply the ASCA Ethical Standards and decision-making model to real-world scenarios

  • Identify ethical considerations when designing and delivering supports across tiers
