Field & Table Dinner on Carlson Farms

An October dinner in the field.

Join us Sunday, October 4 for an evening celebrating the season, the landscape, and the people who make rural places special.

Field & Table brings together original art, open-fire cooking, and the autumn harvest for a one-night dining experience set among the fields at Carlson Farms.

Expect steaks over open flame, seafood kissed by smoke, charred vegetables, and flavors inspired by the harvest season, all prepared by Chef Steven Orwig.

Original artwork curated by Flyover Art will bring another dimension to the evening, creating an experience where food, art, agriculture, and place meet around one long table.

Come hungry. Dress for an October evening outdoors. Plan to linger.

Original art. Open flame. Smoke. Harvest.

Location

Carlson Farms

Lawton, MI

Field & Table will take place outdoors on the farm - in a forty-acre hay field, to be exact. Specific parking and arrival instructions will be provided to ticket holders prior to the event.

The Food

Food by Chef Steven Orwig

The evening will center on food prepared with fire, smoke, and the flavors of the season. Think open-flame steaks, smoke-kissed seafood, charred vegetables, and the abundance of an early October harvest.

The complete menu will remain part of the experience. And, no - the seafood does not come from the farm.

The Art

Art is an integral part of our daily lives. It is also integral to Field & Table, not simply decoration. Original works curated by Flyover Art, the nomadic curatorial initiative of Patch & Remington, will be incorporated into the evening, bringing together artists, food, agriculture, and the rural landscape.

What to Wear

This is dinner in a field on a working farm, so dress for the experience.

We recommend comfortable footwear appropriate for grass and uneven ground, along with layers for an October evening. Think field dinner, not formal dinner.

Weather

Field & Table is an outdoor experience, and October weather is part of the adventure.

We will communicate directly with ticket holders regarding any weather-related plans or changes as the event approaches.

Before You Purchase

Seating is limited and advance tickets are required.

Because this is a special, multi-course dining experience that will incorporate some family-style service, guests with specific allergy or diet restrictions may not enjoy the full experience. Because we are a small team with limited capacity, we are not able to accommodate special requests.

Additional information about parking, arrival, and the evening will be sent to ticket holders before October 4.
