Hey Chicago! Join us Saturday, December 7th at Haymarket House (800 W. Buena Ave.) for the Radical Used Book Fair (indoor edition).

All proceeds from the book sales go to supporting our Books Not Bars program and this year we're partnering with the 46th Ward Office to host their 2nd Annual Coat Drive from 11:00-1:00pm! Interested in donating a coat? Donations will be accepted through December 5th and can be dropped off at the 46th Ward Office (4544 N. Broadway) during business hours.

We'll have hundreds of radical books available—many in like-new condition, as well as some rare finds. It'll be an excellent place to stock up for yourself or as gifts for all the activists and organizers in your life!

*We ask that all Book Fair attendees wear a mask as this is an indoor event*

More details: There will be a wide variety of radical used books on sale and all money raised will benefit our Books Not Bars program that donates books to folks who are currently incarcerated.
Paperbacks: $2, Hardcovers: $4
Parking is limited, we encourage you to take public transportation or bike if possible and please bring your own reusable bags. If you are part of a community group and would like to pick up a box of free books for your space please let us know and come by. 

We will also have some folks tabling from Chicago Abortion Fund, Prison Neighborhood Arts/Education Project, Raise the Floor Alliance and more. In times like this it is more important than ever that we come together and support one another in our work to build a better world.
