International rising stars of the Piano weekend - Concert 1: William Bracken (UK) and Misha Kaploukhii (Russia)

William Bracken plays a programme of Preludes with works by Liszt, Messiaen, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Ruth Crawford-Seeger, Debussy, Bach and Gershwin. Misha Kaploukhii plays Michael Tippett: Piano Sonata No 1 and Sergei Rachmaninoff: Études-Tableaux, Op. 39; Nos. 4,5&7,8,9. Full details available at: www.haymusic.org

Please note: For those attending both the 3pm and 7pm concerts in St Mary’s on Saturday, 11 July we have arranged for a meal to be available at the Swan Hotel from 5.30pm which will be finished by 6.45pm at the latest. We will keep your seats reserved in the church for the second concert. The cost is £29.95 for two courses (main + dessert) and can be ordered by emailing Vanessa Pearson, manager at The Swan at manager@swanathay.com. In order for The Swan to reserve sufficient tables, this offer will close at midday on Thursday, 9 July. Payment will be taken in the hotel on the day.
