Campfire Community Singing Evening
Thu 31 Oct 2024 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Hazel Hill Wood, SP5 1AU
Description
6 pm - 8.30 pm 31st October
Join us for an evening of singing around the campfire (and candle light) at Hazel Hill Wood, near Salisbury.
There is potential for this to become a regular event - let us know if you're keen!
We’ll meet in the Oak House for a Bring and Share feast (please bring something to share) and Sing the Season with Clare Chitty. A Samhain special for this transitional moment in the year.
Then, we’ll move to our woodland Roundhouse or campfire circle to gather round the fire and hear tales from the wonderful Helen Rogerson.
Dress for the weather in clothes and sturdy shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. We highly recommend long trousers due to the presence of ticks in the wood - please click here for more info.
Please check the weather forecast and wear waterproofs, warm layers and insect repellent as appropriate – if you’re not sure then bring it all! We will be outside for the duration of the session.
You are very welcome to arrive early and bring a picnic to enjoy in the wood before the session.
Ticket prices
FREE! Thanks to a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, there is no charge for this event.
