The Haemoglobinopathy Coordinating Centre for Sickle Cell in the North West of England is excited to invite you to YOUR day – an opportunity to connect, learn, and share with your incredible community!

What to Expect:
- Gene therapy: Update and empowering sessions on pathway, pastoral support, and fertility.
- Patient stories: Connect with your community through discussions, inspiring stories, and peer support.
- Workshops: Participate in interactive sessions designed to enhance your knowledge.
- Forum: Open space for stimulating discussion and empowerment and confidence building.
- Charity & Support Stalls: Meet with organisations providing specialised advice and resources for the community.
What's Included (All FREE!):

- Children’s Room (ages 3–12*) with supervised activities and entertainment. Children must be fully toilet trained.
*Age guidance only — activities are aimed at younger children. Older kids may use the space but might not be as interested.
Important Information – Please Read
- Advance registration is essential to attend, due to capacity and catering. Unregistered attendees cannot be accommodated, and security at the venue may deny entry. Please bring your ticket (as a PDF or printout) to ensure smooth entry.
- If bringing family/guests, please select the correct number of tickets (include yourself too!). Limited to 4 tickets per group to ensure fair access. If you need extra, please just let us know and we’ll see what’s possible.
- If your plans change, please inform us as soon as possible to allow others to attend.
- This event is for individuals with a full sickle cell condition, not trait, to ensure tailored content.
- Once you register, you'll receive an email containing your ticket with a QR code, a PDF version that you can save to your phone, and a link to the provisional agenda. We will send the final agenda and a patient handout via email closer to the event, so please keep an eye on your inbox!
