HITW September Social Hike - Slieve Loughshannagh & Carn

⛰️ Route: Slieve Loughshannah and Carn.

This is a wonderful route in the Mourne Mountains AONB that takes you to the peak of Slieve Loughshannagh via the Ott Track. You will begin and end at the Ott Car park which has about fifteen spaces. It is a suitable route for those used to moderate walks while still showing off the beauty that can be found only in the high elevations of the area.
You will have views of the lakes and mountains from the top of the peak which makes it well worth the effort. This route may be muddy after rain and there are areas of loose rocks underfoot. Hiking boots or sturdy walking shoes are needed.

Approx 5.8KM ~ Roughly 4-5hrs.
