Calling All Explorers!
Looking for some fun, hands-on activities for the kids this summer? Do you know a young scientist who likes to explore outside, follow animal tracks, and see what critters are living in the stream?
Join us June 8-12th 9 am-12 pm for Summer Camp Week 2. Perfect for young scientists entering 3rd-6th grade.
During this summer camp, we learn about the amazing water resources we have right here in New Braunfels and the Texas Hill Country, with activities about our watershed and springs, habitats, native plants and nature art.
We will go on hikes, play games, learn about archeology, do water testing, macroinvertebrate sampling, watershed modeling, insect collecting and observations, make seed balls, art, and much more!
This is a great chance to make friends, work as a scientist, explore the outdoors, and get inspired to enjoy and protect our precious Springs for future generations.
This program is onsite at Headwaters at the Comal. 333 E Klingemann St, New Braunfels TX 78130.
Scholarships are available for students and families in need of support.
