Youth SEAM Series

Don't just read about science- experience it! Our SEAM Series with Professor Graybeard is designed for families with children in Kindergarten - 4th Grade. These engaging classes bring Science, Engineering, Art, and Math to life through an unplugged, hands-on approach to learning.   Held in our outdoor pavilion, each session invites families to reconnect with nature while exploring real-world concepts in a meaningful way.  Join us, and help your young scientists build deeper understanding and lasting curiosity through hands-on activities.

JUNE 17th - Creepy Critters: Join us today and learn about the creepy crawly critters that we co-habitat with in South Texas. We will learn what a good bug is and which ones we don’t want around our summer picnics. We will also discover which ones are the tastiest!

SEPTEMBER 30th - Owl Pellets - WHOOooo’s ready to learn about owls? Become a nature detective and carefully dissect a sanitized Barn Owl pellet. Use bone charts and teamwork to investigate what the owl ate for dinner—no owls are harmed in the process! A fun, hands-on way to explore food chains and animal biology.
