Recycling 101

Ever wonder what happens to your items after you toss them into the recycling bin?  Become a recycling expert!  Join WM (formerly Waste Management) and the New Braunfels Solid Waste Department for a fun and eye-opening presentation that follows the journey of your recyclables from your curb to their next life as a "new" product!  You'll learn what can and can't be recycled in our area, bust a few common recycling myths, and discover what your recyclables become.  By the end of the presentation, you will be ready to lead the way to a more sustainable household by educating your family, friends, and co-workers on how to differentiate between recyclable and non-recyclable items.

It's the perfect way to get ready for Texas Recycles Day in November, pick up practical tips, and become a recycling champion who helps make our community more sustainable.
