During this hands on lab, students will explore the three states of matter: liquid, gas, and solids. We'll also explore physical science by learning about the various ways forces will affect motion! Students also get to search Headwaters for their own rocks to experiment with.

This program is aimed at students in the Kindergarten-3rd Grade range. Attendance for these classes is limited due to social distancing requirements. All in person participants will be required to adhere to COVID-19 Safety guidelines which will be provided in advance of the program.

"At Home Program Kits" are available for families who prefer not to attend in person. If you sign up for this version, Headwaters staff will contact you to arrange kit pick up or delivery.

The safety of our staff, volunteers, and visitors is our number one priority. Updates to federal, state, or local guidelines and recommendations may change our ability to hold this program in person. If this is the case, "At Home Program Kits" will be offered for participants. In case of cancellation, tickets will be transferred to another program, refunded, or converted to a donation.
