Building Personal Resilience
This online course is being run by Health in Mind in partnership with BAVS (Berwickshire Association for Voluntary Service).
The course consists of 5 sessions which will run on Monday mornings from Monday 7 February to Monday 7 March. Each session will run from 10.30am - 12noon online, via Zoom.
This course will help you to:
- Understand the basic science of wellbeing, happiness and stress
- Be able to recognise when pressure is becoming a problem in your life
- Learn about the basics of CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
- Learn how to break unhelpful habits and form new, healthy ones
- Learn about what we can and can't control in our lives
- Practice practical tools like, breathing, grounding, and body scan
