HOme Monitoring for Expectant (and postnatal) Parents (HOME) - Findings from our Real-World Evaluation

Join us for an in-person event to hear about the results of our evaluation of HOME, an antenatal blood pressure self-monitoring service that has been rolled out across Gloucestershire Hospitals, North Bristol NHS Trust, Royal United Hospitals Bath, and University Hospitals Bristol and Weston during 2025 and 2026 with support from Health Innovation West of England.

We will also share findings from the postnatal at-home blood pressure monitoring pilot at Great Western Hospital.

The evaluation, co-produced by York Health Economics Consortium and Health Innovation West of England, aims to:

• Explore how women and birthing people access and engage with HOME.
• Understand the experiences of pregnant people on the pathway.
• Identify benefits for midwives and maternity services.
• Understand the impact of HOME on resource costs and the environment.
• Explore how the services have been implemented.

The event will provide an opportunity to explore the findings, share learning and experiences, and consider how the evidence can support the continued development and safe implementation of at-home blood pressure monitoring services. As well as sharing the findings, lunch will be provided and there will be opportunities to connect with colleagues, discuss the learning and network with others working in this area.

Who should attend?

We are inviting the HOME project leads in the trusts and their operational teams supporting delivery of the service. We would also like to invite any trust leads who would like to find out a bit more about the project and how this has been evaluated as well as colleagues from Maternity Neonatal Voices Partnerships, LMNS Leads and patients.
