Creating the Conditions for Better Care
Quality and safety leads, patient experience leads, senior leaders and executive teams are working across a growing range of frameworks, regulatory requirements and improvement priorities. Although these can appear separate, many are underpinned by the same themes.
This interactive workshop will help participants recognise and connect those common themes, including compassionate leadership, psychological safety, systems thinking, equity, accountability, co-production, meaningful use of evidence and continuous learning.
Through facilitated exercises and peer discussion, participants will explore how these themes run through patient safety, quality, experience and regulatory expectations. The session will support participants to:
- Connect related requirements rather than manage them as separate workstreams
- Learn from peers and share approaches already working in practice
- Identify opportunities to align existing improvement activity
- Strengthen evidence of progress, impact and assurance
- Consider approaches that could be adapted or adopted locally
Participants will leave with a clearer view of how the frameworks fit together and practical ideas for creating a more connected approach to quality improvement.
