Volunteer Info Session: Support Restitution Applications for Survivors of Online Exploitation

The Department of Justice has opened a restitution process for survivors who were trafficked or exploited online through platforms such as Backpage and CityXGuide. Survivors may be eligible for financial compensation, but the petition process often requires medical and mental health documentation of losses.

HEAL Trafficking is collaborating with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) to connect survivors with pro bono lawyers. We are seeking licensed health and mental health providers willing to volunteer their expertise virtually.
