HUG Heroes | HeroSpark: The Power to Begin

Welcome to the third HUG Heroes Power Session — HeroSpark: The Power to Begin.

HeroSpark helps children learn how to get started when something feels hard, big, new, or overwhelming. Through story, play, movement, imagination, and neuroscience-informed activities, children and parents will journey through the world of HeroSpark — from spark energy and rocket launches to mission setting, countdowns, power moves, and getting “Back On Mission.”

Throughout the session, children will explore playful tools designed to help them move from stuckness into momentum, build confidence, and discover that beginning does not have to feel perfect — it can start with one small step.

HeroSpark helps children begin to understand:

- How the brain and body create energy for starting
- How sleep, light, food, and movement can support their spark
- How to choose a mission and take one small first step
- How to use countdowns, power moves, and simple rituals to begin
- How to reset and come back when their focus drifts

This session introduces simple, child-friendly tools inspired by dopamine, motivation, nervous system activation, and embodied learning — all delivered through imagination, movement, story, and connection.
