Asymmetrical willow basket weaving workshop 

Immerse yourself in the timeless art of basketry on this full day course.

Working with a variety of sustainably harvested willows, learn key weaving techniques including a pairing weave, 3-rod wale and French rand. Finish your basket with an asymmetrical border and a whittled stick handle. 

This course is perfect for beginners as you will be guided step-by-step through each stage of the basket making process. 

Access Considerations

We will be weaving in the Tractor Shed near the farm house at the top of the hill. The drive up to the farm is along a 1km long unsurfaced track, which isn't suitable for low vehicles. Tables and chairs will be provided.  There is car parking a short walk away and WCs close by.  The farm is a working farm and the ground is uneven in some areas.  If you have any concerns please contact us at the email address below.
