Kick off Pride Month with AFRO QUEER for a night of music, connection, celebration, and global club sounds rooted across the African diaspora.

After such a beautiful residency at Golden Ratio, we’re excited to gather again for a special AFRO PRIDE edition featuring community-centered OPEN DECKS and a dance floor full of queer joy.

For this night, we’re calling on YOU.

We’re opening the decks to queer African DJs and DJs of the African diaspora to come share your sounds, your energy, and your vision with the community.

Whether it’s your first time playing out or you’re already experienced behind the decks, you are welcome here.

Two Queer Africans living abroad building liberated futures as quantum griots.

Chagga Star is a DJ, astrologer and alchemist, creating portals through nature-based learning and immersive sound. Their genre bending sets draw the sounds of the African Diaspora for Black and brown, queer and trans communities to move, release, and return to center.

Aïma the Dreamer is a multidisciplinary artist and cultural producer based in Oakland, known for building iconic queer Global Majority dancefloors and transformative experiences that fuse resistance, pleasure, and collective care across music, film, fashion, and live performance.
