Musicians from the Ann and Peter Law OAE Experience Scheme explore the Ouverture Suite, one of the most popular forms of Baroque entertainment, showcasing dance music through a kaleidoscope of instrumental combinations. Hear music by Bach alongside his more famous contemporary, Telemann, plus fascinating pieces by Fasch and Graupner, including a most unusual line-up of soloists featuring two chalumeaux, two horns, and four timpani drums!

About the scheme

‘The Ann and Peter Law OAE Experience Scheme gives gifted period instrument musicians the chance to work alongside OAE orchestral players. The two year-long scheme is aimed at players who have already finished or are finishing their studies and allows participants to be involved in and be mentored in a variety of events across the year.’
