Welcome to all the pleasures

Join Heath Street Choir and Istante Collective for a programme of music in celebration of enjoyment ~ from love and family to pets and nature ~ centred on Henry Purcell’s ode to St Cecilia, Welcome to All the Pleasures (1683). There will also be pieces by Monteverdi, Björk, Taverner, Delius, Dowland, Dvorak and Cage. Home-made food, punch, wine and soft drinks will be available after the concert.

Heath Street Choir is a community choir dedicated to performing less often heard classical works. Istante Collective is a period-instrument ensemble of professional musicians and is centred around folk, baroque and classical repertoire.
