Hebden Bridge Flood Alleviation Scheme: Business Support Information Session with the EA
Hebden Bridge Flood Alleviation Scheme: Business Support Information Session with the EA
Need help?
Doors at 5pm. Firm start at 5:30pm
If the proposed flood alleviation scheme goes ahead, what support and compensation could local businesses expect?
Join us to meet the Environment Agency’s Estates Team, ask questions, and share your views before the public consultation closes on 18 November.
All local businesses are welcome.
We’ll share full details soon, but the evening is likely to include a short presentation followed by round-table chats grouped by business type (depending on numbers).
This session will mainly focus on business support and compensation during the works - that’s our priority for the 90 minutes we have. If time allows, we’ll also touch on wider questions about the scheme. Any unanswered questions will be sent to the Environment Agency, and their responses will be shared with everyone afterwards.
The Environment Agency has also asked us to share that The Flood Information Centre on Valley Road is open: Mondays & Fridays, 10am–2pm, and Thursday evenings, 3pm–7pm. You can also reach the team at HebdenBridgeFAS@environment-agency.gov.uk.
Organised by Hebden Royd Business Forum to support local businesses. The Forum remains neutral on the proposed scheme.
A free ticket is needed to attend, so we can make sure there’s room for everyone.
