Healthy hedgerows – What, Why and How?
This first-of-its-kind event will showcase practical hedge management demonstrations, as well as talks and workshops on everything ‘hedge’ - from management, surveying, and funding, to choosing hedgerow species and hedgerow trees, wildlife and understanding the wider benefits of hedgerows in the landscape.

The venue opens at 8.30 am so come from then to network over a hot drink. The first talk is at 9.30 am.
The day includes scheduled visits to demonstration sites on the farm and displays by Wiltshire and Swindon Biological Records Centre and our sponsors.

The event is free to attend, but booking is required for insurance purposes and catering. We expect this event to be popular so if you cannot attend after booking, please cancel your ticket using the 'Manage tickets' link on your order confirmation or alternatively email us.
Free car parking on site. Please car share if possible.
Tea and coffee will be available to purchase. Please bring your own mug if possible.
Lunch (a hot meal choice of mutton stew, beef chilli or vegetarian option) can be pre-ordered at £8 during booking and paid for on collection. A limited number of additional meals will be available for purchase on the day.
Otherwise you are welcome to bring your own food.
The entrance is on the left opposite that to Lydiard Park - not the main entrance to Park Farm / Lydiard Turkeys.
