Workshop Summary

We look forward to welcoming you to the woods for a creative and enjoyable day at Birtley Woodland Art Space, Bramley, nestled within the beautiful Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Morning Workshop

Time: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (2.5 hrs)

Participants can choose to create either:

• A decorative Willow Dragonfly, or
• A woven Willow Sphere

Afternoon Workshop 

Time: 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (3hrs)

Participants can choose to create either:

• A practical Willow Cloche, perfect for supporting taller garden plants, or
• A Willow Sphere

Full Day Workshop

The full-day experience combines one morning and one afternoon workshop, allowing participants to create two willow projects during the day.

This special event has been arranged for members of the Surrey Federation of Women's Institutes and offers a wonderful opportunity to learn traditional willow weaving techniques, connect with fellow members, and enjoy a relaxing day immersed in nature. Whether you are new to willow weaving or have previous experience, you will leave with beautiful handmade creations and new skills to take home.

Please note that the half day tickets have been discounted by £5 for your group and full day tickets by £10, this discount applies to WI members only.
