Step into a world of stillness, scent, and subtle medicine in this half-hour tea ceremony led by Cat Mamaki—herbalist, permaculture designer, and founder of The High Nature Centre.

Inspired by Zen Buddhist tradition, this ceremony blends mindful ritual with a sensory exploration of seasonal herbs. You’ll be guided to slow down and engage all your senses—feeling the texture of leaves, breathing in their aromatic compounds, tasting their subtle flavours, and tuning into their energetic and medicinal properties.

Held in a simple, natural setting, the experience draws on the aesthetic of wabi-sabi—celebrating the imperfect, the fleeting, and the beautifully ordinary. Each movement, from the heating of water to the offering of tea, becomes a meditation in itself.

This is more than a tea tasting—it's a moment to reconnect with nature, your body, and the quiet wisdom of plants.

Following the tea ceremony, you’ll be guided into a deeply restorative sound journey with Helen Sound Meditation -bathed in the healing tones of Gongs, HandPans, Chimes, Singing bowls, and Native Flute. Let the vibrations carry you to a place of peace, presence, and blissful stillness.
