Hell in a Handbag Productions is pleased to open its 2024/25 Season with the 25^th anniversary edition of Artistic Director David Cerda’s holiday classic Rudolph THE RED-HOSED REINDEER (An Unauthorized Musical Parody), directed by Anthony Whitaker, playing December 13, 2024 – January 5, 2025 at Hoover Leppen Theatre at Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted St. in Chicago.

This beloved and twisted musical parody of the animated 1967 children’s television special features all your favorite misfits and Rudolph – the cross-dressing reindeer with a penchant for red hose and heels. In trademark Handbag style, Rudolph combines parody with heartfelt moments and a splash of scathing social commentary. 

ANNUAL BENEFIT WEEKEND

December 20^th, 21^st and 22^nd is our ANNUAL BENEFIT WEEKEND. We will be having 3 very special Rudolph performances. Not only will you enjoy a Rudolph performance but also a fun pre-show party. Drinks, delicious nibbles, a Silent Auction, raffles and Handbag hi-jinx !!!

On Friday, the 20^th and Saturday, the 21^st the party starts at 6pm and the curtain time will be 7pm. (a special time)

On Sunday, the 22^nd the party starts at 2pm and the curtain time will be 3pm.
