Farm Day at Helping Hands Healing Sanctuary

Join us for Farm Day at Helping Hands Healing Sanctuary — a special open house event where we welcome the community onto the farm to connect with our animals, explore the grounds, and learn more about equine-assisted therapy.

This family-friendly event is a chance to slow down, experience life on the farm, and see firsthand the work we do with horses and healing. Guests will have opportunities to meet the animals, explore the property with guidance from our team, and learn more about our programs in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

RSVP is required to attend so we can plan for a safe and meaningful experience for all guests. While attendance is free, optional donations are warmly welcomed and directly support the care of our animals and the continuation of our programs.

Important Farm Guidelines

To ensure the safety of our animals, guests, and staff, please review the following rules before attending:

  • Do not bring pets of any kind.
  • If you require a service dog for a disability, please contact us in advance so we can ensure safety for all participants.
  • All guests must check in at the welcome desk and sign a waiver before participating.
  • If attending with minors who are not your legal dependents, you must print and have the minor’s legal guardian sign the waiver in advance. You can contact us for our waiver or find our waiver on our website.
  • You may only enter animal areas when accompanied by a volunteer or staff member.
  • Do not feed the animals.
  • Do not enter any roped-off areas.
  • Do not enter any buildings without a volunteer present.
  • Closed-toe shoes are required to enter horse areas.

We’re excited to share the farm with you and appreciate your help in keeping this a safe, respectful, and joyful experience for everyone — humans and animals alike.
