Join us for a hands-on, inspiring weekend introduction to permaculture gardening with two experienced and passionate tutors, Huw Richards and Peni Ediker. Set in a beautiful setting in North Wales, this course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to begin or deepen your journey into permaculture gardening. Whether you're a beginner or looking to reconnect with the core of permaculture, this immersive weekend will leave you with new insights, practical tools, and a fresh sense of purpose in your growing journey.
Upon completion of the course you will be issued with a certificate accredited by the Permaculture Association showcasing you have completed your introduction to permaculture.

About your tutors:
Huw Richards: Huw Richards is a passionate permaculture gardener, Sunday Times bestselling author, and YouTuber dedicated to making growing food simple, accessible, and rewarding. With over a decade of hands-on experience and a global online following, Huw shares practical, time-saving techniques rooted in permaculture and regenerative principles. His teaching combines clear guidance with a deep curiosity for the natural world, inspiring others to grow their own abundance—no matter the size of their garden.
Peni Ediker: Peni Ediker, based at Sŵn y Coed in West Wales, is an experienced permaculture gardener, educator and land steward who lives under Wales’ pioneering One Planet Development policy. Her deep commitment to low-impact living and regenerative land use is evident in all she does. Peni has hosted and taught dozens of courses on permaculture gardening, biofertilizers and sustainable living, bringing a grounded and inspiring approach and a wealth of hands-on knowledge to teaching others how to live and grow in harmony with the land.
Site: The course is held at Henbant Permaculture Farm, a beautiful and inspirational space nestled between mountains and sea in North Wales. The site has the perfect combination of purpose-built facilities, both for teaching and guests as well as well established permaculture designed gardens at lots of scales.
The Food
Breakfast, lunch, and supper will be made using local, organic, and seasonal ingredients, including farm-grown and farm-reared, as well as crops from Huw’s garden. We will honour most dietary preferences, ensuring your meals are not just nourishing but also a delightful culinary experience. Please get in touch to discuss further.

When can we arrive?
You're welcome to arrive Friday late afternoon/early evening for supper
What if I can only come by public transport?
We can arrange transport to pick you up from Bangor or Porthmadog train stations
Is there a cancellation policy?
Cancellations up to 4 weeks before that start will receive a full refund. Otherwise there will be a 50% refund.
