Opening with Mozart's Duo Concertante, presented in a rarely heard sextet arrangement, the concert explores both the timeless and the inventive. Alongside the elegance of Haydn, Caroline Shaw’s Entr'acte brings a modern twist—drawing from Haydn's own work but venturing into a whimsical, mirror-world where tradition transforms into vibrant new forms.
Pre-concert talk with Steve Clarke begins at 6.45pm. Doors open at 6.15pm for the talk and at 7.15pm for the concert only.
