Come and experience Handel’s glorious choral masterpiece
Handel's Messiah is one of the best-known and most frequently performed choral works in the world. Written in just 24 days, with Handel re-purposing several arias previously composed for his Italian operas, the oratorio is beloved for its profound humanity, majesty and tenderness.
This performance features the 100-strong chorus, and a star cast of young professional soloists and ensemble musicians. You are advised to book early as our Christmas concert, complete with mince pies, is usually sold out. Note start time.
The concert will conclude with a collection in aid of The Chiltern Centre, Registered Charity Number 1101218.
