Join us for a joyful, upbeat and fun festive concert, more heartwarming than a John Lewis ad and guaranteed to get you in the mood for Christmas.
The Junior and Senior choirs will be singing a selection of carols and festive favourites.
You can buy a delicious mince pie and a glass of wine, join in with the carols and enjoy a heart warming performance under the brilliant guidance of conductor Jen Statham.
This is a great opportunity to see Henley's young singers in action - and especially to bring along any young people aged from 7-18 who enjoy singing and might want to join the Junior or Senior Youth Choir.

Jen Statham, conductor
International award-winning soprano Jennifer Statham graduated form the Royal Academy of Music Vocal Master’s with distinction on 2023. Since then she has been working as an opera singer and music educator. Most recently she performed the role of Glaša with Grange Park Opera and in the summer of 2024 was announced the winner of the Opus Artis Paris International Vocal Competition.
Autumn 2024 performances include performing as the oratorio soloist with the Waltham Singers and Hampton Choral Society and performing with Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and the Gabrieli Consort both in the UK and on tour in Europe. Next summer Jennifer is very excited to have been invited to be a Alvarez Young Artist with Garsington Opera.
Jennifer hugely enjoys her work as a music educator and coordinator and each year she organises a choral and orchestral camp for young musicians at Pigotts Music Camp. Outside of her work as a musician, Jen loves cooking and sports and recently completely her first marathon swim doing the Dart10K!
Anita D'Attellis, accompanist
Anita D’Attellis has performed extensively as a solo pianist, chamber musician and accompanist, with recitals at the Brighton and Cheltenham International Festivals, Snape Maltings, the Royal Festival Hall and the Symphony Hall, Birmingham. She graduated with first class honours in music at the University of Birmingham, followed by Postgraduate study at the Royal Academy of Music.
As concerto soloist, she has performed Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Shostakovich Piano Concerto no. 2, the Grieg Concerto, Mendelssohn’s first piano concerto, Saint-Saëns’ second, the Beethoven Choral Fantasy, and Mozart Piano Concertos K.467, K.488 and K.491.
A keen chamber musician, Anita's piano trio won national competitions which led to concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, the Purcell Room and St. John’s Smith Square. In 2018 she founded ‘Winter Recitals Wallingford’ out of a desire to curate innovative programmes and perform chamber music with a variety of musicians. She has recently completed the sixth series of ‘Winter Recitals’ which has so far donated more than £21,000 to charity.
Anita is an experienced teacher; she was previously Head of Music at Trevor-Roberts School in Hampstead, and later became Head of Keyboard at Sherborne Girls, Dorset. Currently, she is Accompanist at Queen Anne’s School, Caversham, a piano teacher at Royal Holloway and Eton College and the regular accompanist for Henley Youth Choir.
