We’re back for the fifth year to celebrate the organisations and individuals leading the way in making workplaces more menopause and menstruation friendly.
This event recognises the employers championing change, improving lived experience, and helping to create more supportive workplaces for those managing menstruation, menstrual health and menopause.

What to expect
Join us for a full day of insight, networking and celebration. This year’s event will take place simultaneously across Nottingham, London and Liverpool, with expert speakers in each location and moments shared across all three venues.
By hosting the event in three locations, we’re making it easier for more employers, changemakers and advocates to come together, connect and be part of the conversation.

From organisational impact to individual leadership, our award categories celebrate those driving real change across menopause and menstruation in the workplace.
Entries close on 31 July. Applications are reviewed by the independent Menopause and Menstruation Friendly panel, then finalists will be announced on 1 September, and winners announced at the event on 16 September.
Please note: Only Menopause Friendly and Menstruation Friendly members can apply for awards.
Menopause Award Categories
Menopause Friendly members can apply for up to two of the following categories:
Menopause Friendly Employer of the Year – Recognising an accredited organisation that has truly embedded menopause awareness, education and support into its workplace culture.
Most Open Culture (Menopause) – Awarded to an organisation where menopause is spoken about openly, with strong leadership and a culture that encourages conversation and understanding.
Most Menopause Friendly Environment – Celebrating an organisation that has made meaningful, practical changes to its workplace environment to support colleagues experiencing menopause.
Best Engagement Campaign – Awarding an organisation that has delivered a brilliant campaign to raise awareness, spark conversations and encourage greater understanding of menopause in the workplace.
Best Support Group – Celebrating an organisation that has built a strong network of colleague support, helping to create a culture of care and understanding.
Best Trained Workforce – Recognising an organisation that has invested in training to ensure employees and managers have the knowledge, skills and confidence to support colleagues experiencing menopause.
Menstruation Award Categories
Menstruation Friendly members can apply for either or both of the following categories:
Most Open Culture (Menstruation) – Awarded to an organisation where menstruation and menstrual health are spoken about openly, with visible leadership and a culture that encourages respectful conversation and helps break down stigma.
Most Supportive Workplace (Menstruation) – Recognising an organisation that has taken a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to supporting menstruation and menstrual health at work. This award celebrates employers that have considered culture, policies and practices, training, workplace support and employee engagement to create an environment where colleagues feel understood and supported.

The Carolyn Lazarus Award for Best Individual Contribution – Recognising an individual who has made an exceptional contribution to improving awareness, understanding and support for menopause in the workplace.
