It's “Goodtimes Together" ~ Hawaiian Style! with Henry Kapono & Sistah Robi Kahakalau, joined by HKF On The Rise artists, Kailua Moon.

Celebrate the spirit of May Day with an evening of music, hula, and aloha, featuring Grammy-nominated, award-winning artists Henry Kapono and Robi Kahakalau, joined by longtime favorites Greg Sardinha on steel guitar and Kimo Bell on bass, with special appearances by Kailua Moon and hula by Malia Mahi and Nani Carvalho.

Blending classic songs, island favorites, and shared stories, the artists come together in collaboration, sharing the spirit of Aloha that defines May Day in Hawai‘i.

Set in the intimate waterfront atmosphere of Kapono’s at The Lounge, this special HKF Presents evening invites guests to gather, celebrate, and experience the beauty of Hawai‘i’s music and culture up close.

KAILUA MOON

Kailua Moon is a rising Hawai‘i-based group known for their fresh blend of island, folk, and contemporary acoustic sounds. With strong harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, they bring a modern feel while staying rooted in Hawai‘i’s musical traditions. As part of HKF’s On The Rise Next Level program, they represent the next generation of local artists shaping the future of island music.

MALIA MAHI

Malia Mahi is an accomplished hula dancer whose graceful style brings depth and visual storytelling to every performance. Rooted in tradition, her hula reflects the emotion and meaning of the mele she interprets. Her presence adds a beautiful cultural dimension, connecting movement, music, and aloha.

NANI CARVALHO

Nani Carvalho is a respected kumu hula and cultural practitioner, known for her elegant and expressive approach to hula. With a deep commitment to preserving Hawaiian traditions, her performances honor the stories and spirit behind each mele. She brings authenticity and manaʻo to the stage, enriching the overall experience.

Greg Sardinha
Greg Sardinha is a Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award-winning steel guitarist, widely respected for his signature sound that blends traditional Hawaiian music with a contemporary feel. A sought-after collaborator, he has contributed to countless recordings and performances across Hawai‘i and beyond. His playing brings a rich, unmistakable tone that evokes the heart and history of island music.

Kimo Bell
Kimo Bell is a seasoned bassist and trusted collaborator in Hawai‘i’s music community. Known for his steady groove and musical sensitivity, he supports a wide range of artists across live and studio settings. His understated style provides the foundation that allows each performance to feel grounded, dynamic, and connected.
