For one special evening, beloved singer-songwriter Robi Kahakalau brings her unmistakable voice, heartfelt storytelling, and the songs that have become part of Hawaiʻi's soundtrack to the intimate setting of the Velvet Monkey. Joined by special guest Kalaʻe Camarillo, this rare performance celebrates the music, stories, and spirit of Hawaiʻi - bringing together a beloved island icon and one of Hawaiʻi's exciting rising artists in a setting designed for unforgettable music and shared moments.

Affectionately known as "Sistah Robi," Robi Kahakalau has been one of Hawaiʻi's most beloved entertainers for decades. From her early days with Hawaiian Style Band to her award-winning solo career, her warm vocals, heartfelt songs, and unmistakable spirit have made her a favorite of island audiences and beyond.

Joining Robi is special guest Kalaʻe Camarillo, a gifted singer-songwriter from one of Hawaiʻi's most musical families. Fresh off winning the 2026 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award for Contemporary Album of the Year for Drifting On Island Time, Kalaʻe is known for his rich vocals, accomplished musicianship, and contemporary approach to Hawaiian music. He brings a fresh perspective while honoring the traditions that have shaped his artistry.

Adding another layer of beauty to the evening, acclaimed hula dancer Malia Mahi will share select performances throughout the night, bringing the stories of the songs to life through graceful, expressive hula.
