WAHINE NIGHT with Jenny Yim
Featuring Keahi Delovio & Mālie Lyman
At the heart of WAHINE is singer-songwriter Jenny Yim, whose soulful vocals, warmth, and natural ability to bring artists together have made the series a celebration of music and the women creating it. Inspired by the intimate spirit of a Nashville songwriter round, Jenny welcomes two of Hawaiʻi's rising female artists to share the stage, creating an evening where the stories behind the songs are as much a part of the experience as the music itself.
This month, Jenny welcomes Keahi Delovio and Mālie Lyman, two distinctive young artists whose music reflects both where Hawaiʻi's music has come from and where it's going. Together they'll share original songs, inspirations, stories, and spontaneous musical moments before Jenny takes the stage for a soulful closing set of her own.
Hailing from Kailua-Kona, Keahi Delovio is an emerging Native Hawaiian singer-songwriter blending island reggae, contemporary pop, and heartfelt storytelling. Her breakout original 21st Century Kanaka spent approximately six months on local radio charts, and in 2025 she was named Haku Collective's People's Choice Artist of the Year. Her newest single, Kohanaiki, is a love letter to home, the ocean, and the places that shape who we become.
Mālie Lyman carries one of Hawaiian music's treasured family legacies as the great-granddaughter of legendary falsetto singer Genoa Keawe. A vocalist and steel guitarist, Mālie honors the traditions passed down through generations while bringing her own contemporary voice to the music. A Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winner for Hawaiian Single of the Year for Kuʻu Makamaka, her artistry beautifully bridges ʻohana, tradition, and a new generation of Hawaiian music.
Expect beautiful harmonies, unexpected collaborations, great stories, plenty of laughter, and those spontaneous musical moments that can only happen when talented artists share a stage.
Set against Kapono's waterfront atmosphere with great food, specialty cocktails, and Friday night energy, WAHINE is a night to listen, laugh, connect, and experience some of Hawaiʻi's most exciting female voices - together.
