SEAN CLELAND at the VELVET MONKEY

One Man. Endless Musical Possibilities.

Two Intimate Shows. One Extraordinary Musician.

If you've experienced Sean Cleland live, you know. If you haven't, you're in for something special!

Three-time Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award-winning songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist Sean Cleland returns to the Velvet Monkey, bringing his incredible musicianship, soulful vocals, and electrifying guitar work to one of Hawaiʻi's most intimate listening rooms.

What makes Sean's performances so fascinating is watching the music come to life right before your eyes. Armed with his guitar, voice, and looping technology, he builds each song layer by layer, transforming a solo performance into the rich, dynamic sound of a full band.

From soulful ballads and bluesy grooves to rock, pop, and unexpected musical twists, Sean moves effortlessly between styles, creating a performance that's as impressive to watch as it is to hear.

And at the Velvet Monkey, there's no distance between the artist and the audience. Every note, every guitar solo, and every spontaneous moment happens just feet away.

Come for the music. Stay for the magic of watching it happen!
