From the backroads of Tennessee to the shores of Waimānalo, acclaimed Americana singer-songwriter Scott Levi Jones brings his signature blend of heartfelt storytelling, sharp wit, and soulful folk-rock to the intimate Velvet Monkey stage.

With a songwriting style compared to legends John Prine and Steve Goodman, and musical influences ranging from The Band to Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jones has built a national following through his authentic, original music and engaging live performances. He's graced some of Nashville's most celebrated stages, including the legendary Bluebird Café, toured across the country, and opened for the Red Clay Strays right here in Honolulu.

His original song Free Bird became a viral sensation, earning more than 5 million views on Instagram and introducing his clever songwriting to audiences far beyond Nashville.

But Scott's connection to Hawaiʻi goes beyond the stage. After marrying his wife, who grew up on a farm in Waimānalo, Oʻahu became his home away from home, bringing him back to the islands and its music community time and again.
