A New Year's Day ReSet

Join us on January 1st as we begin the year together in movement, stillness and community!  A ritual ReSet to clear, ground, and gather as we step into the year ahead.

Meet Henya: Henya Emmer is an accredited 5Rhythms® Movement Meditation Teacher, DJ, and Event Producer. She facilitates dynamic, embodied experiences, and is committed to creating spaces for people to drop in deep to the beat, to move, and be moved. Henya is based in Brooklyn, New York, and offers movement classes and workshops in NYC and worldwide.

Meet Chaya: Chaya Glaser is a certified sound healing practitioner, musician, writer, and music educator. She explores music as a universal language, beginning with the rhythm of our heartbeat. She facilitates individual and group sound healing journeys, song circles, self-care and humming workshops, and is inspired to co-create nourishing, immersive spaces for healing. Chaya guides you towards finding comfort and beauty within your unique hum and vibration, instilling healing harmony from within and together.

Meet Molly: Molly Rabuffo is a singer and sound healing artist based in Brooklyn, NY. In 2022, she founded Bloom Sound Collective, a community of healing artists and musicians dedicated to creating meaningful experiences with sound through traditional sound healing rituals and immersive concerts. Since then, Molly has performed and/or produced sound healing events for groups from 1-1000+ people with the mission of providing a safe and supportive space for sonic exploration and self-discovery. Molly also hosts sound journeys on Tuesday nights at Official Ritual, a sound meditation studio in Chelsea, Manhattan.

About 5Rhythms: Created by Gabrielle Roth, 5Rhythms is a philosophy, perspective, performance art and movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put psyche in motion it will heal itself —a dynamic way to both workout and to meditate in the same breath. The Rhythms of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness form ‘The Wave’, an embodied journey that encourages us to find our own dance and to discover ourselves at our most fluid and creative level. While a seemingly simple process, the 5Rhythms practice facilitates deep and unending explorations, moving the dancer beyond self-imposed limitations and isolation into new depths of creativity and connection.

There are no steps to learn and the Rhythms can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of age, fitness, ability, or experience
