Meet the panel:
Matt Cameron
Matt has served as the Head of Business Analysis & Architecture at Northumbria University for over 4 years, where they have transformed the Business Analysis offering from one which was misunderstood and under utilised to a service that is highly respected and in constant demand. Introducing the Business Architecture offering allowed us to create a Target Operating Model aligned with our long-term strategy, pinpointing crucial areas for improvement university-wide. Prior to this, he held the role of Senior Business Analyst in the NHS and gained valuable experience in Continuous Improvement at Siemens in the renewable energy sector during my formative years.

With a background in retail and the financial services sector, she has enjoyed working in higher education since 2019 across transformation programmes in digital and human resources services. She is also enthusiastic about personal and professional development dedicating her time to volunteering with the Young Business Analysts network. With a background in marketing operations (read: data, systems and processes for marketing teams), she joined University of Cambridge as a Business Analyst in 2017. Having worked on a range of projects across student records, admissions, research operations, and identity and access management, it’s the complexity of a collegiate University that Carys finds fascinating.
